Our story

Let's rewind to the beginning, shall we?

Night Work Nutrition was born from the shared experiences of three individuals: Jim Maher, Jai Brook, and Lachlan Cromby. These three founders crossed paths while working gruelling night shifts in the mining industry, a demanding job they continue to tackle to this day.

One fateful night, while navigating the endless loops of a haul truck, Jim embarked on a journey of self-improvement. He used the 12-hour night shift to immerse himself in podcasts about sleep, health, wellness, and nutrition. It quickly became evident that the demands of shift work took a toll on one's health and well-being.

Driven by a desire to make a difference not only in his own life but also in those of his colleagues and fellow shift workers, Jim delved into research. However, he found a lack of educational support and suitable nutritional products for shift workers. This realization sparked an idea: to create a range of products and an educational platform to support and empower shift workers on their health journeys.

Jim knew he couldn't embark on this mission alone, so he enlisted the support and unique business expertise of his trusted colleague, Lachlan. Together, they spent nearly a year meticulously researching and developing products that were not only delicious but also effective in supporting the unique needs of shift workers. This dedication led to the creation of the Night Revive product line.

Despite their progress, Jim and Lachlan felt they were missing a crucial component. Enter Jai, whose drive, determination, and business acumen added the final piece to the puzzle. With Jai on board, Night Work Nutrition became a force to be reckoned with, dedicated to improving the lives of shift workers everywhere.

Although Night Work Nutrition is still in its infancy, the vision of the three founders is to become the foremost advocate and provider of comprehensive health and well-being solutions for shift workers around the world. They aspire to create a future where shift workers have the necessary tools and support to lead healthy and balanced lives, no matter their demanding schedules. Through expertly crafted products, including meal replacement shakes, hemp bars, and sleep masks, they aim to empower shift workers to achieve optimal health, unwavering energy, and restful sleep during their non-traditional work hours.
